Killavilla win 3-1 on penalties
In a game of high quality throughout, Knigh Utd started the brighter but couldn’t find a way past Addison Feehan in the Villa goal. Villa started to gain control and might have won it in normal time as Callie Cullinane, Zoe Nash, Kayleigh Delaney and Mya Steele all went close, but it wasn’t to be. So the dreaded penalty shootout was needed and Callie, Zoe had scored two while Addison saved two before Kayleigh stepped up to smash the winning penalty into the top corner to send the players, coaches and fans into delirium. A harsh way for any team to lose but a deserved win for our girls. A big shout out to the coaches John Pio Fitzpatrick, Maurice Nash, Tommy McAndrew and Lauren Fitzpatrick.
